Tested humidity with multiple devices and this unit is spot on. I love the alarm feature. The casing is a bit chincy, but over all I am impressed.

I have placed one sensor in the wet bay of my RV, one in my well house, another just to monitor outside temp and of course the inside temp. My well is about 100 feet from the house and the RV is stored about 50 feet from the house. It reads the temperatures fine from those distances and from inside the compartment on the RV. I do not completely winterize my RV. I keep an old style type light bulb in that cabinet of the RV and in my well house. This lets me know if the lights have burned out and to help keep those items from freezing. I have set minimum temperature alarms on both.

The distance that it receives the wireless singless is much further than I though. Works in a tent that was outside in 80% humidity. Worked thru my walls of the house which are brick and aluminum siding. One remote unit did get full of snow and the led display went crazy. But once warmed up it started working fine again. I replace all batteries with lithium ion. Make sure you use the calibrate feature to get all remote units in sync.

A good way to keep track of important temperatures throughout the house, including refrigerators, freezers, basements, attics, crawl spaces, furnace rooms, baby rooms, garages, sheds, cellars, outside, etc. Allows keeping track of up to 9 areas, and setting hi & lo temperature and humidity alarm points for 4 of them. I have the main unit right by my bed, so I know the current temperature and humidity in different areas of my home when I wake up and at other times.

Great way to monitor temperatures upstairs, main floor, basement, and outside! I don't particularly care about the humidity other than in the living space of the basement, but I'd rather have too much info than not enough. The display is great: Love to instantly check all temperatures without having to change the channel or even press a button. Has a pull-out stand, so it sits in a visible position. I bought it to replace a Taylor digital remote thermometer that I really liked for 15+ years. This one was a good replacement!
