I went with the small gallon size based on reviews. Don't get me wrong. The bags are well made... but the gallon size are just too small to work with. After adding bags to a gallon container it does not leave much of an opening to mix. You would be better off using the 5 gallon bags in a 5 g bucket cut down in half it need be.
