After reading Chelsea Handler's first book, I was very excited about reading her second, Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang. It takes a look at every aspect of her life. From her humorous career, to her "nugget" friends, to her brothers and sisters and her "suspect" father, every page turned in this book definitely provokes even more laughs than the last! I definitely recommend reading Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang. I laughed at every chapter in this book. Nice going Chelsea, keep writing books so I can keep laughing!
This book is hilarious! It's basically a collection of comical stories from throughout Chelsea's life. It's a fairly quick read, only took me a couple of days (mostly b/c I couldn't stop reading it) and I laughed aloud many times. If you love her, you'll love this book. Here's a quote: “Why he would agree to install an eight-by-eight-foot fish tank and then not fill it with a single dolphin made me want to burn his eyebrows off.”
I love reading Cheasea's books (read all of them) and then I try to get rid of them as fast as possible, because I don't want anybody of my friends to find out that I am reading this kind of stuff. I don't know what to think about this woman. But her writing styl is entertaining, perfect when there is nothing better to read in the house, and then forget about it. I cannot understand her lifestyle - but that's not the point. It's her life. I must admit, that she is funny in her books.
This book is hilarious. If you are a Chelsea Handler fan, you will definitely enjoy this book about her family and friends and their misadventures. I would recommend reading her other two books first (although not a requirement to enjoy this book) so you will understand some of her ongoing jokes about her friends and family. Handler may come across as less than intelligent, when quite the opposite is true. Her writing and comedy are the work of a very talented and intelligent individual. If you enjoy Handler’s work even a little, this book is a must read.
I bought Chelsea Handler's Bang Bang book once it was out on the market. I enjoyed this book and it definitely kept me laughing from start to finish. I love how awfully open she is, even though it may not be mannerly or proper etiquette. One downfall, it didn't quite keep me 100% focused while reading it, like her other 2 books did.
