Put this on the boat with the new Ulterra trolling motor. No problems mounting it, however once the motor was placed on the plate it would not accept the pin. I had to drill the hole out in order for it to accept the pins and you do need to be careful because it is made out of plastic. Do not force it in or it will break.

The bracket handle is very hard to install and once installed it has to be pryed loose with a screwdriver as the Ulterra and bracket are overlapping the release handle. It might work well on narrower motors. Would've given a 5 rating if not for the above.

Very nice QD motor mount. Only drawback is has to be on a perfectly flat surface or holes for fork will have to be modified. Nice mount Would highly recommend

Very easy to install and position on your boat. It is a blessing that all required hardware is in the package not to mention its all stainless steel. Once the accompanying mount is installed on the motor base, simply lower onto the boat mount, insert the lock-pin and your ready for anything. When you need to remove the motor, pull the lock-pin and lift. Of course Minn Kota does offer this mount in powder coated steel, but it's much heavier. So the choice is yours, light weight or steel. Either way you won't be disappointed.

Very solid mount. Easy to install. Motor comes off with just a pin pull and unplug from boat. I see nothing wrong with this setup.
