This fan pushes a lot of air, but is quite noisy. The "Superior Balanced Blades" weren't so balanced, contributing to the decibel levels. I was able to find the out of balance or bent blades and straightened them. The noise dropped dramatically. Also, I added a motor control to the system, but I had trouble finding one that would work efficiently with this very low current draw fan motor. That being said, this is a good value and appears to be a quality fan, with minor issues that are easily dealt with.

I can not find a flaw in either the design or function. There are several 6" In-Line duct fans available, and they all have mixed reviews ranging from poor quality to poor function. I bought the IPower brand based solely on the quality of their other products that I have purchased, and once again I am happy that I did. The fan is built solidly, and it performs at LEAST as well as stated. In fact I could have bought their 4" fan, and had sufficient air flow. IPower makes a good product, and they have very competitive pricing. 5 stars!!!
