Although this LED light bulb is an older model that is now replaced with one that also changes colors, I chose to this one because of the price and I am using it as a backlight for my plasma TV. I only need to adjust the intensity and adjust white light to 6500 Kelvins. Connection to my WiFi was easy, even with a static IP address. I can control the LED with either my iPhone or iPad LIFX app.

This is a excellent choice once you get it setup. Nice and bright and can change the brightness and the color. The only issue I had was getting it setup. It took me a couple of times to get it to see my wireless network. Once I got it to setup I moved to the lamp I wanted it in.
