I had to buy it for a class, but it has been informative and interesting. The book provides a digital rat to practice classical conditioning. An alternative that not only appeases animal rights activates, but also make the process more convenient for students. The program can be installed and run on any computer. Saving your progress allows you to stop when you need to and come back when you want to. But let's be honest, its biggest appeal is that hour-long experiments can be completed in under 5 minutes. It's definetly made classical and operant conditioning a little less hands-on, but a lot more accessible.
Maybe there is something wrong with me, but I found this program somewhat confusing. The book was hard to follow, but then again maybe I just don't understand it and everyone else doesn't have a problem. Either way, I won't buy another book like it again.
I needed this for a behavioral mod. class, I wanted a copy for myself so I wouldn't have to use the computer lab.
