Hey,the float willbe sitting inside your tank, it will never be seen, it doesn\'t have to look pretty, it just has to do the job........ and it does it perfectly.
You may be tempted to think that because it uses some recyclable material that it can\'t be much good but don\'t be fooled by its simplicity, it is as efficient as any of its expensive counterparts on the market.
Like all good ideas its simple; and it simply works!
What makes this kit special is that unlike other cheap float-type water level indicators that show the water level in REVERSE, this kit shows the ACTUAL water level....... where the indicator is ........ that\'s where the water level is!

Without going into detail, it works on a basic physics principal which you probably learnt at school if you did Elementary Physics but have forgotten all about it!
Also unlike \'dial gauge\' type indicators you don\'t have to get up closeto read a smalldial tosee whatyour water level is, with this kityou can seethe exact levelat a glancefrom a distance.
The \'dial gauge\' type indicators look trendy but if you have a very tall tank or a tank up on a high stand, you may still need a ladder to get close enough to read it clearly!
Additionally, all the \'dial gauge\' types that I\'ve seen have a tank height limit, so if you have a very tall tank it will not be suitable for you. There isNO height limit with our kit.
The external clear plastic tube type is a good idea but like the dial type gauges, you still have to get up relatively close to see the water level in the tube and as the tube starts to tarnish from exposure to the elements you have to get closer and closer to see it. Plus if the bottom of the tube should get damaged by frost or vermin you could wake up to an empty tank.As a safe guard some of this type are fitted with atap that you have to turn on every time you want to check the level, just don\'t forget to turn it off!This defeats the purpose of checking the level at a glance. And you would nearly have to be a plumber or a very competent handyman to cut or alter your tank outlet pipe to fit in the “T” piece for the plastic tube..... after you hunt around finding the right size adaptor for your pipe.
Then you have the \'electronic\' type.
They sound like the ant\'s pants if you like expensive gadgets and if you like constantly checking the batteries and hope that it doesn\'t get fried in the next storm. And human nature being what it is, you\'ll probably go out and check the level manually... just to make sure the electronic gadget is still working!
With our kit there is no tension springs to adjust or wear out, no batteries to replace, no plumbing knowledge required, no external plastic tubethat may possibily ruptureand you don\'t have to cut a big hole in your tank to fit it.................... Our kit only requiresONE small12mm hole,on the roofof the tank! Thats it, no brackets, no bolts, no screws.
Our kitis extremely simple to install without any special tools or knowledge and is supplied with easy to follow step by step comprehensive instructions (in plain English)and drawings. Anyone can fit it, all you need is a couple of readily available recyclable items which are usually in abundance around any household.

Q> Does any toxic metal touch the water in the tank?
A> Absolutely not. NO metal of any sort supplied in our Kits touches the water inyour tank.Completely rust proof.
Q> How easy is it to fit the Kit?
A> If you can use a drill to make a 12mm hole, you can fit it!
Kits come with comprehensive step-by-step illustrated instructions as well as some handy tips.
Q> Is the indicatoraffected by wind?
A> If the indicator is hanging low because your tank is low on water, then naturally
in astrong wind the indicator would sway a little (1-2cm) but this will not
damage it (or your tank) or affect its operation. A hint submitted by one
of our customers and now included in the Kit (as well as other hints &tips)
may be of interest to you if you live in a particularly high windy area.
Q> My tank has a sloping roof, will your Kit still work?
A> No Problem. The big white tank in the second picture has a sloping roof.
Q> How easy is it to install the kit if the water tank is half full?
A> It does not matter if the tank is full, empty or anywhere in between, it\'s just as
easy to install the Kit no matter how much water is in the tank. You do not
have to turn off your pump or interupt the water supply whilst installing it
and definitely you will not lose any water in the process.
Q> I am worried that my pet dog (or cat or little kids!) will be tempted to grab hold of the water level indicator and pull it off, is there any way I can prevent this?
A> Yes. Easy, just have a look at the hint and photos on the Hints and Tips page on our website.Q> My tank is a fair way from my house, is there any way I can make the water level indicator more visible from a distance?
A> Yes, there is a very good hint and photos on how to do that in the Hints and Tips page on our website, again using another plastic recyclable item!
