This is a two piece Shakespeare Wonderod fly fishing rod. Model FY-B 500-EBA. Rod is 8\'6\" in length and weighs 4.0 oz. From Shakespeare\'s Professional Series, KWIK Taper design, rod will handle a 7-8 weight fly line. Rod dates to 1969 and originally listed for $25.00. 4\" black and maroon anodized aluminum sliding hood screw locking fly reel seat with black rubber butt cap. 6 1/2\" specie cork grip with maroon aluminum winding check. Stainless steel stripper guide, five stainless steel snake guides, and a stainless tip top. Brass, nickel plated over-wrapped ferrules. Blade is Wonderod white with maroon nylon guide winds, black nylon extensions. Specie cork has been cleaned and reconditioned. Rod has been cleaned and has been finished with a premium glass rod varnish. Comes with a single compartment clear plastic rod bag and brown fiber rod storage tube.
