Vintage drag go kart partially restored, needs finished. Has newer 5 hp. briggs engine with Comet Torq-a-verter, jack shaft with gear reduction, and a rear differential which are all in working order. This kart will do between 50 and 60 mph. with a 250 lbs. person on it. NOT MEANT FOR KIDS. This is an adult kart and could really do some damage to an inexperienced rider. Needs floor pan, throttle and brake cables, rear band brake shoes, and very minor body work including paint. The rear rims will be replaced with new tires mounted prior to shipping. All controls are on the handlebar steering system, no foot controls. This kart is very rare and extremely hard to find. Has been in the family for over 35 years. All parts needed to finish the restoration will cost less than $200.00 here on . The body work will cost nothing if you have a TIG welder. Buyer is responsible for arranging freight company and scheduling pick up. Free local pick up is preferred and always welcome.
