ABOUT THIS DISPLAY
This handcrafted, one-of-a-kind display starts with a 3/4\"plywood basewithan oakveneer edge.
The contour of the \"terrain\" is expandable foamcovered with a mixture of brown aquarium graveland multi-colored smooth river pebbles.
Several interesting pieces of super clean Canadian driftwoodhave been added forappearance and toprovide a place of attachment for your fish.
The gravel, stones, driftwood, and oak edge are all thickly coatedwith clear, high-gloss epoxy resin beautifully sealing everythingtogether and providing a \"wet look\" to the entire piece.
The plants are plastic aquarium plants. To make the plants\"stand up\",eachpiece is individually wrapped around a flexiblewire.Adjusting the look of the plants is easy by simply bending the wires.The three lily pad leaves are also plastic and adjustable.(the artificial lily pads are the highest quality available andthe most realistic I have found)
This display was finished by covering the entire bottom of the base with greenprotective felt.
Also included with this display are two precut but unfinished pine1x2s.If you choose to use them,they will serve as wall bracketsto support your display.(It is VERY important that these 1x2s be attached directly into wall studswith LONG screws. THIS DISPLAY IS HEAVY).If securely mounted, these two 1x2s are all you need to properly supportthe display.
