The Tropf-Blumat (Drip-Blumat) is a sensor that supplies plants with drips of water via thin tubing. It begins to drip automatically when the soil is dry and stops dripping when an adequate moisture level is reached. This process requires the presence of water pressure; this can be produced either by having a mains connection or by using an elevated water tank. Every plant, every container or group of plants requires at least 1 Tropf-Blumat adjusted to the individual needs of the plant. Larger containers or surfaces require longer or more than one sensor. All Tropf-Blumats are connected using one supply tube, this allows for flexibility in the layout and is changeable at any time. Click on our flyer for more information.

Please Note That These Are The Tropf-Blumat Not The Cheaper Spike Blumat That Cannot Be Used With Nutrients,
these can, with either connecting to a Resevoir/Tank or directly to a faucet with a special BLUMATpressure reducer.
This standard or beginner set is designed for 3 balcony boxes with lengths of up to 1 meter, but is also suitable for any other purpose.
As a general rule of thumb: 4 Tropf-Blumat (4 drip locations) are required per 1 m box, 3 Tropf-Blumat per 0.8 m box or 1 Tropf-Blumat in planters up to 25 cm diameter. Water is usually supplied through a connection to an elevated tank,ora pressure reducer (Art. Nr. 36001) is required for a reliable connection to a water faucet.
