This is a beautiful, signed, Simerman Dulcimer, number 733, built in 2004 with a light colored wood, humming bird sound holes, the signature Simerman scalloped fretboard and a lovely strong voice. I\'m not sure what kind of wood... the body is very light color and the sound board is cut showing the curly grain and is the color of cherry or koa. It has a 61/2 fret, strap buttons, Ping tuners and the fretboard has a very dark overlay... probably ebony, but I\'m not an expert. This instrument looks like new and sounds lovely. The only issue I\'ve had with it was a tiny crack in the woodgrain at the very end of the lower hummingbird tail.
