I know very little about these instruments. It does appear to have violin strings for the melody strings and possibly cello strings for the drones.

Body is 17 1/4\" long, about 25\" including the peg head and turning knob.
9 \" wide at widest point
Crank turns with the right hand, keys are played with the left hand.
7 1/4\" high, from back of body to top of key box.
