Optimarc Lamps are super metal halide lamps made to replace High Pressure Sodium lamps in standard high pressure sodium fixtures. They are available in 250 and 400 watt sizes. Optmarc lamps should ONLY be used in fixtures equipped with HPS ballasts. Lumen output is approximately 28,000 lumens in the 400 watt model. Optimarc may be burned in any position. Use in fixtures using an HPS ballast, preferably a regulated lag ballast, such as the Advance brand with capacitor & ignitor ( Please call us at 800 number if you have any questions.
