Transpiration:
Leaves draw in carbon dioxide from air through pores and give
off water vapor and oxygen.

 Energy (light) comes from the sun

 Photosynthesis:
 Leaves make food (carbohydrates), water and oxygen from sunlight, carbon dioxide and water.

 

 

 

Plants draw water from the soil or growing medium.
